Youth Ministries

Our youths are not just the future of the church, they are the Church. With this in mind, we strive to build a Christ Centered generation. It is only through aligning their lives with God’s Word that our young people can stand strong, live purposefully in today’s challenging world.

Vision of Youth Ministries

Nurturing the Tangkhul Youths to become a God-fearing generation by strengthening their spiritual foundation which in return will positively lead to their holistic growth.

Mission of Youth Ministries

  • Boldly proclaim the Gospel unashamed and unwavering and strive daily to be transformed into His likeness.
  • To promote youth education grounded in Godly principles and the fear of the Lord.
  • Avoid distinctions between large and small churches but instead create an environment where the youth can grow together equally, both physically and spiritually.

Mission Strategies

  • Self-Preparation We believe that without physical and spiritual readiness, we cannot effectively serve or guide others. Therefore, as part of our commitment to self-preparation, we hold regular worship sessions in the homes of our staff to strengthen our faith and unity.
  • To ensure a firm spiritual foundation and physical sufficiency for all youth
    1. Youth Camp – Our Youth Camp is structured into three distinct tracks, each with a unique purpose. Discipleship camp aims to nurture and deepen the faith of young believers while Evangelistic Camp focuses on introducing the Gospel to youths who have not yet received Christ. Lastly, Leadership Camp is for spiritually growing youths who show leadership potential. Thus, it aims to empower youths to guide, teach and influence others for Christ.
    2. Sports Ministry – This ministry provides a fun, welcoming environment where young people come together to play sports, build friendships and experience God’s love in action. Our goal is to reach young hearts through sports using every opportunity on and off the field to build community, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage spiritual conversations and to promote teamwork, respect and Godly character.
    3. Student Ministry – The Kongsang Girls’ Hostel, run by the Youth Union, regularly conducts Bible study sessions, with staff members taking turns to visit and teach the residents. In addition, hostel camps are organized from time to time to further enrich the spiritual growth of the girls. Beyond this, the staff also take turns visiting nearby hostels to share the Word of God.
    4. Medical Camp – Our medical camps are typically organized in remote areas where transportation and communication facilities are limited. These camps aim to address not only the spiritual wellbeing of the people but also their physical health. To support this, we provide free health check-ups in such undeserved locations.
    5. Gospel Preaching and Open Concert – Our Gospel Concert and Open Concert is usually organized during the season leading up to Christmas. It is held in open spaces where everyone is welcome to join. The main purpose of this event is to remind and encourage the youth that Christmas is approaching, and it is a time to celebrate in a holy and Christ-centered way, not according to worldly desires, but in accordance with the life and teachings of Christ.
    6. Rarkarum Ministry – This ministry is dedicated to outreach and partnership, where we collaborate with larger churches to uplift and strengthen smaller churches through the organization of camps and revival programs. These initiatives are fully sponsored, with our association and partnering churches covering all financial needs required for the camps.
  • Economically Empowered Group One of our primary goals is to ensure that every church youth society becomes economically stable. To support this, we provide financial assistance in the form of a Soft Loan of Rs. 20,000.  The youth society are expected to use these funds to organize fundraising activities. They will retain the profits generated, but are required to return the principal amount provided.
